The meeting was organized by the Cooperative Enterprise of Pharmacists in Western Greece (SEFAR SEA), which operates in seven (7) prefectures (Aitoloakarnania, Arta, Preveza, Thesprotia, Evritania, Fokida, Lefkada) and has 180 members.
Athens, October 12, 2015. KARABINIS MEDICAL organized on Friday 9 October 2015 at its premises, the Scientific Ergonomics Seminar addressed to its employees. The seminar was conducted by the Professor of physical education and sport, Mr. Georgios Georgas, and included two major sections: a) a brief presentation on the ergonomics during work and b) demonstrating problematic scenarios of ergonomic during work and possible workarounds.
The aim of the course was to limit musculoskeletal stress and musculoskeletal pain associated with prolonged preservation of specific positions during labor. The effectiveness and practical application of the seminar second part is closely intertwined with the peculiarities showing the various positions which workers maintain in the majority of their working hours.
Additionally, KARABINIS MEDICAL gifted to its employees a musculoskeletal evaluation in Okeanos Sports Center.
KARABINIS MEDICAL participated in the 15th PHARMAPOINT 2015, held at the Convention Center I.Vellidis Thessaloniki, in 17 & 18 October 2015.
The Marketing Director of KARABINIS MEDICAL, Ms. Vivi Voudouri, in her speech on “New products that enhance the image of pharmacy and pharmaceutical care”, presented all the new dietary supplements and diagnostic devices included in the company’s portfolio during 2015.
Athens, October 5th, 2015. On the occasion of the International Heart Day (29/9), the doctors of the Greek Institute of Cardiology (ELIKAR) offered the public free exams for cardiovascular risk assessment. The event took place in Syntagma Metro hall, on 01-03 October 2015.

KARABINIS MEDICAL supported with sponsorship the educational seminar “Contemporary Views in Clinical Management of Cardiovascular Risk Factors,” organized by the Greek Society for Cardiovascular Protection, taking place in Vitina, 2-4 October 2015.
The scientific agenda of the seminar covered a number of modern clinical topics and included significant lectures on the cardiovascular protection.

KARABINIS MEDICAL successfully participated this year in the 3rd Educational Conference “The Pharmacy in Greece”, organized by SYFAK in Heraklion, Crete.
The seminar which attracted Cretan pharmacists was held in Technopolis on 26 & 27 September 2015.
Guests pharmacists had the opportunity over the weekend to attend 14 lectures on pharmacy and health issues, while held five workshops and two round tables with specific topics such as “The Best Practices of Business Management: The Pharmacists Experiences” “OTC market developments, the Position and the Role of Pharmacy” etc.
At our booth visitors had the opportunity to be presented the full range of our products.
The Congress of Greek Pharmacists Association was held June 6-7, 2015, at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens with the participation of pharmacists all over Greece. The key issue of the Congress was the role of the pharmacy as part of primary health care.

During the event, the 10-year Cooperation Annual Awards, as well as the Excellence Awards, were given to those employees whose important contribution to the company’s goals achievement reaches the highest total quality standards set by the company.
Mr. Karabinis closing his speech noted that “the company is decided to continue its course defined by specific strategic development goals, despite the difficulty of the conditions we presently experience in our country.
