Caring For The Environment Is In Our Dna
Our Vision
Environmental protection is an inherent part of KARABINIS MEDICAL’s core identity. Since its inception, the company has embraced green business practices as the foundation of its corporate philosophy, making a promise to society.
KARABINIS MEDICAL’s commitment to environmental sustainability is evident through various initiatives and the implementation of environmental management systems. The “Caring for the Environment is in our DNA” campaign exemplifies the company’s dedication to safeguarding the environment, paralleling the protective nature of SON food supplements for our bodies. This comprehensive corporate social responsibility program serves as a tangible demonstration of the company’s dedication to adopting eco-friendly practices, promoting recycling, and highlighting the importance of environmental protection.
Working together … for a better future
As a part of the “Caring for the Environment is in our DNA” initiative, KARABINIS MEDICAL supplies recycling bins powered by SON to pharmacies across the country. These bins are designed to collect recyclable materials from any food supplement company.
At the same time, 1% of the sales generated from SON food supplements is dedicated to organizing clean-up efforts in various waste-affected areas throughout Greece. This collaboration is established with the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation (HERRCO).
“Caring for the Environment is in our DNA” environmental program was awarded the GOLD AWARD from Excellence Pharmaceutical Market Awards 2022 in the Climate Change and Environmental Protection category.
Apostolos Karabinis, Chairman & CEO of KARABINIS MEDICAL
“There would be no better way to share our love for the environment, to strengthen the environmental awareness of all of us and to contribute to reducing our environmental footprint, than through “SON” food supplements! Care for the Environment is inextricably linked to our Company and to this end, we are so glad that we have both the Hellenic Pharmacy and the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation on our side, thus confirming the self-evident fact that environmental protection is not only an individual responsibility, but a corporate responsibility. We should also particularly like to thank the Ministry of Tourism for its motivational support”.
