Karabinis Medical believes deeply in the value of the environment and its development takes place in a spirit of corporate ecological awareness. It gives its very best to its fellow human beings and local societies in which it operates, reducing at the same time its environmental footprint. The Company carries out recycling on a yearly basis and approximately 12 tons of paper, electronics, batteries and clothing have been collected to date .
“Green Dot” packaging recycling
With green business consciousness and a very clear strategy for the environmental protection, Karabinis Medical has joined a collective alternative management system for packaging, batteries, electronic equipment and portable accumulators. Towards this end, the packaging used for KARABINIS MEDICAL products is mainly recyclable and marked with the “green dot” symbol. Moreover, recycle bins per category of material have been placed at the Company’s premises, so that their sorting and disposal would be practical and easily accessible for Karabinis Medical personnel.
Finally, it should be noted that the ordering and installation of photovoltaic systems is already underway, with a view to reducing energy consumption, together with the gradual replacement of the car fleet by hybrids.
