This year, for the first time as part of the conference were given lectures to the public, with central issue “Live in health”. Our company participated in two major speeches addressed to the public, having a great impact to both pharmacists and consumers who attended the conference, indeed attracting a large audience:

KARABINIS MEDICAL pays special attention on its employee’s continuous training and development, always having at the core of activities its own people. The company through specialized training and development programs enables both, the professional and personal development of its employees

Specifically for the year 2015 the company provided the following educational seminars for its employees:

  • Sales Department: 597 hours in training programs related to the pharmacy market, sales and skills development
  • Accounting Department: Seminar on Feasibility on “New Greek Standards Seminar” lasting 8 hours
  • Company Staff: 50 hours of training of all the company’s employees in specialized CRM program, for better costumer management, partner’s administration and all the applied company’s processes targeting the improvement in all levels.
  • Scientific Ergonomics Seminar 3 hour’s length, conducted by professor of physical education and sport, Mr. Georgios Georgas, who analyzed the importance of ergonomics during work and ways of improving/correcting problematic ergonomics scenarios.

For the year 2016 the company has planned a new series of educational seminars:

  • Sales Department: 430 hours in training programs related to the pharmacy market, sales and skills development. In the frame of the seminars scheduled for the current year, the company’s Sales Dpt. attended in January 2016, a 12-hour specialized seminar rapporteur Professor Nilos Bazionis in “Selling, Trading and After Sales Service».

The investment of the company for the years 2015-2016 for training and development programs, was officially estimated to exceed the amount of 10.000 €, while total training time was estimated at about 1,100 hours.

The service Hypertension & Diabetes Corner that our company launched for the first time in 2006:

  • Using a scientifically developed software and the teamwork of two scientific health sectors “pharmacist – doctor’’ gives much better results in the regulation of patients with hypertension and diabetes, while educating the patient to self-measurement and lifestyle improvement

  • Complies with the guidelines of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Studies proved that team approach including both physician and pharmacist, gives better results in the regulation of hypertension, in comparison to the standard patient management.

Athens, January 28th 2016. KARABINIS MEDICAL conducted successfully the company’s Annual Sales Meeting on 22 & 23 of January, at DA VINCI venue, in Agia Paraskevi.

The event was dedicated to the Company’s Sales Departments and its main part included the educational seminar “SALES, DEALING AND AFTER SALES SERVICE», which was introduced by Mr. Nikos Bazionis, a graduate of Roosevelt University, Chicago USA, holder of bachelor Degree and a MBA

In the event were also presented the new products and services of KARABINIS MEDICAL.

The event was greeted by the company’s President & CEO, Mr. Karabinis Apostolos, who was referred during his speech, to the objectives and the company’s strategy for the coming years.

Donation to the Municipality of Thebes, December 2015

KARABINIS MEDICAL always supporting activities aimed at the public education on health issues, made a donation to the City of Thebes with the necessary material meant for blood glucose measurements.

The Municipality of Thebes implements the Prevention and Health Promotion Program of the Elder People-Ipioni, organizing Informative lectures on Diabetes Mellitus and providing dietary advice by health experts. In addition, they perform blood glucose measurement made by health professionals, physicians and nurses, in recognized institutional structures and services such as Elderly Centers, Homecare programs, Health Clinics etc.

Donation to Rafina PD, December 2015

KARABINIS MEDICAL made a donation of the appropriate medical first aid equipment to Rafina’s Police Department, in the context of its CSR program “Life Ally”.
