Presentation of the antimicrobial thermometer in Expopharm Germany

Athens, October 19, 2016. KARABINIS MEDICAL antimicrobial thermometer now integrated in the Microlife product range was presented in the International Pharmaceutical Exhibition Expopharm, in Munich, Germany, from Wednesday, 12 October to Saturday, 15 October 2016.

The Expopharm is an international pharmaceutical trade fair, which has established itself as a leading European trade fair for the pharmacy sector. It takes place once a year and it was founded in 1949 as “pharmaceutical exhibition”. Today it announces the most important innovations from all areas of the pharmacy world such as pharmaceuticals, food supplements, natural remedies but also pharmacy equipment and technical literature

Every year it attracts the interest of global health market, while visited by more than 28,000 professionals and 500 exhibitors, half of them not German, presenting new products.

The antimicrobial thermometer, as new innovative health product, attracted the visitors’ attention.  KARABINIS MEDICAL President & CEO, Mr.Apostolos Karabinis stated: “It is a great pleasure of our company and mine personally, to get presented within such an important trade fair, the product I dreamt, designed and implemented. I’m confident that this product will receive high acceptance by the consumers in the near future”.

The agreement on the first antimicrobial thermometer promotion in the global health market was signed between Mr.Karabinis and MICROLIFE on May 18, 2016 and just five months later the product was launched in the International health market.

This time, our company made a donation to the athletes of the Gymnastics Department of Tennis Club Lavrion Attikis. The amount of the donation will cover sports equipment which is necessary for the daily training of the athletes.

KARABINIS MEDICAL made a donation of 2,000 disposable gloves to Associaton of “Parents Association of Mentally Disable”, as a minimum contribution to the great work they offer.

The Association that located in Saronida Attikis and hosts more than 50 people, was founded in 1973 by parents of individuals with mental disabilities, while it was recognized as a charitable association in 1977.

The exhibition had great success with more than 3,000 pharmacists and representatives of the pharmaceutical market from all over Greece as visitors.

The central theme of the exhibition was “The time of innovation in pharmaceutical care and science.” The conference was organized for the 16th year of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thessaloniki.
