Mayor of Galatsi, the Department of Defense and Health Promotion and  the Social Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Cardiovascular Prevention and MEDITON organized Wednesday, November 23, 2016 an event for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases at the Cultural Centre of Galatsi “ΚΑΜΙΝΙ”.

Main speaker was Mr. Andreas Pittaras, Cardiologist-Hyprertesnion Specialist ESH, President the Hellenic Society of Cardiovascular Prevention and Director of the MEDITON. The theme of his speech was “Early awareness, prevention and treatment of risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. Errors, omissions, myths and beliefs concerning hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Diabetes Mellitus, Smoking, Nutrition, Obesity and Exercise. ”

During the event a nurse of our company conducted free blood pressure measurements with MICROLIFE automatic blood pressure monitor and also blood sugar measurements with the new meter BIONIME GM700S.

After its presentation in Expopharm Germany in October 2016, the antimicrobial thermometer presented with great success in the medical trade fair MEDICA, which took place in Düsseldorf.

For each of the four days of the fair, from 14 to 17 November 2016, specialists from all sectors of the health presented innovative products both from the field of pharmacy and medicine. This year, for the first time, more than 5.000 Exhibitors from more than 70 countries, took part in MEDICA. Visitors were able to experience what’s new is happening right now in the medical technology industry and watch interesting forums on important topics from the field of medical and pharmaceutical science.
