Athens, 18 May 2018. Every year, 17th May is dedicated to World Hypertension Day (WHD). Microlife was the sponsor of two major public events organized by the Hellenic Cardiology Society (HCS) at Golden Hall & the Mall Athens.
As hypertension is one of the primary risk factors for cardiovascular which leads to various other health problems, it is recognized as a serious threat to public health. Thus, it is very important to create a public awareness by public screening events.
The audience had the opportunity to be informed by HCS physicians about hypertension issues as well as to measure their blood pressure with the clinically tested blood pressure monitor Microlife A3L Comfort, with IMT technology for comfortable measurement during infusion of the cuff.
