On Sunday, June 13, was realized a scientific meeting, at the Hotel Iliotropio, in Vigla, Mytilene. The meeting was organized under the auspices of the Pharmaceutical Society of Lesvos, with subject “Hypertension, Diagnose and Treatment” and sponsored by the companies KARABINIS MEDICAL, the exclusive distributor of Microlife’s diagnostic devices, and the pharmaceutical company Novartis. Basic speaker of the scientific meeting was the cardiologist, at the head of the 7th anti-hypertension I.K.A clinic, Mr. Peter G. Kalogeropoulos. Number of pharmacist participated, showing great interest in the meeting issues that aimed in their training on the great importance of early diagnosis and the effective treatment of the arterial blood pressure.

On May 29th, 2010, was held in Sardinia, Italy, the annual Microlife Distribution Meeting. The conference was attended by Microlife Distributors from 28 countries. Among others, the Greek company KARABINIS MEDICAL, which plays a dominant role in the Greek market health care, dynamically participated in the distribution meeting. During the presentation of professional devices of blood pressure measurement, was thoroughly analyzed the professional device Exact BP, a result of the innovative cooperation between KARABINIS MEDICAL and Novartis Hellas. The original device Exact BP produced according to the International Standards on the Hypertension, not only records the blood pressure measurement, but also displays it’s difference from the AP. The Exact BP won the International prize “Pharma CEO 2009”, of Novartis, for the pioneering achievement in the development of a diagnostic tool, that helps to improve the regulation of Hypertension. The end of the meeting was followed from a cultural event.

On April 27th 2010, in the building of EEDE, was organized a meeting titled “Quality as a Competitive Business Advantage”. The curriculum of the meeting was subjected: “Quality” of the postgraduate level of the Athens University of Economics and Business. KARABINIS MEDICAL participated on the meeting, after an official invitation of the organizer company “Contact of New Businessmen Greece, Young Leaders” and was represented by its President & CEO Mr. Karabinis Apostolos.
Mr. Karabinis in his presentation analyzed the competitive advantage of KARABINIS MEDICAL in the subject of the quality related to the product, the management, the offered services, the social liability profile, etc.
The presentation was attended by the total of students of International M.B.A of the Athens University of Economics and Business, guided by professor Eriq Soderquist. The meeting was carried out with absolute success in friendly environment among speakers and attendants.

On Saturday, the 20th of February, 2010, at the hotel Electra Palace, the company Advance Pharmacies (Panhellenic Network of Pharmacists), organized a Suppliers Conference and Special General Meeting, which was sponsored by KARABINIS MEDICAL. This important Conference lasted approximately 7 hours, from 11:00 am to 06:30 pm, attended by the majority of the Pharmacists – members of Advance Pharmacies along with their executives. The discussed issues were about the assessment of 2009, the plans of 2010 and New Projects. Among the distinguished speakers was the President and CEO of the company KARABINIS MEDICAL, Mr. Apostolos Karabinis who was referred to a new project of high importance on the health field, related to the wet treatment dressings, a ringleader sector of KARABINIS MEDICAL and Advance.

KARABINIS MEDICAL S.A. in cooperation with the Association of Pharmacists in Chania organized an educational seminar, on February 17th 2010. The seminar took place at the new premises of the association, in the beautiful city of Chania, Creta, with main purpose the education of the pharmacists-members of the association, and their assistants. The topics of the seminar were about: ESI Food Supplements, ESI Phytotherapeutic products and Adult Incontinence Management with the use of ABENA products, as both ESI & ABENA are exclusively represented by KARABINIS MEDICAL. The main speakers of the seminar were, the scientific deputy of KARABINIS MEDICAL, Pharmacist Mr. Klopas Anastasios, and the Sales Managers Mr. Ntasikos Chrysostomos and Mr. Manthopoulos George. KARABINIS MEDICAL, is a company with active presence in the Health Care field, attended the 2nd National Symposium of General Medicine, that was held on January 29th and 30th 2010, at the National Research Foundation in Athens, dedicated on “Primary Health Care-The fascination of the constant search” The participants were very interested in the presented topics. Among them, was extensively analyzed the issue of the Arterial Blood Pressure.
