Coastal clean-up in Kalamaria as part of the “Caring for the Environment is in our DNA” programme
KARABINIS MEDICAL, a member of Karabinis Group, in collaboration with SY.FA. Thessaloniki Group and the Municipality of Kalamaria, is organising a volunteer clean-up at Karabournaki Beach, on the Kalamaria waterfront, on Sunday, 4 October 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The event will take place under the auspices of the Region of Central Macedonia and the Pharmaceutical Association of Thessaloniki.
The initiative forms part of KARABINIS MEDICAL’s environmental programme, “Caring for the Environment is in our DNA”, which operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and is funded by 1% of the turnover from SON food supplements.
This event marks another meaningful step towards protecting and enhancing the natural environment through the collaboration of two organisations that share common values: social responsibility, collective contribution and care for local communities.

- Clean-up activities in environmentally degraded areas, aimed at restoring ecological balance and raising the profile of local communities.
The collaboration with SY.FA. Thessaloniki Group strengthens the programme’s momentum in Northern Greece and highlights the important role that pharmacists and pharmaceutical sector organisations can play in promoting environmental awareness.
