The scientific agenda of the seminar covered a number of modern clinical topics and included significant lectures on the cardiovascular protection.

KARABINIS MEDICAL sponsored the educational Seminar “Prevention & Care of Diabetic Foot and Dietary Habits’’, organized by the magazine” Health Advisor “taking place in Patra, on May 23, 2015.
The seminar was held in “Astir Patra’s Hotel” having mass public attendance, mainly from the regional pharmacies and the Diabetic Association of Patra’s “Sweet Life“.
The three speakers of the seminar are the city’s distinguished scientists. Rapporteur of the seminar was Doctor Tsekouras Athanasios- Endocrinologist Diabetologist, who presented the topics of “Diabetes, prevention and care of Diabetic Foot.”
The Clinical Dietitian-Nutritionist, Ms. Kottika Iro, was referred “on Dietary Management of Diabetes Mellitus” and finally, the Special Pathologist-Diabetologist Ms. Talampouka Georgia, was given the necessary advice to diabetics on “Diabetes Treatment and Hypoglycemia Management ”
The cycle of lectures was completed with the presentation of Mr. Vangelis Stasis, Sales Director of Diagnostics Medical Devices Dpt of KARABINIS MEDICAL, who presented the proper techniques of blood glucose self-measurement. The company representatives distributed throughout the public free glucose meters.

On Sunday, June 13, was realized a scientific meeting, at the Hotel Iliotropio, in Vigla, Mytilene. The meeting was organized under the auspices of the Pharmaceutical Society of Lesvos, with subject “Hypertension, Diagnose and Treatment” and sponsored by the companies KARABINIS MEDICAL, the exclusive distributor of Microlife’s diagnostic devices, and the pharmaceutical company Novartis.
Basic speaker of the scientific meeting was the cardiologist, at the head of the 7th anti-hypertension I.K.A clinic, Mr. Peter G. Kalogeropoulos.
Number of pharmacist participated, showing great interest in the meeting issues that aimed in their training on the great importance of early diagnosis and the effective treatment of the arterial blood pressure.
The Hellenic Society of Cardiovascular Protection held on 11/28/09 at the Cultural Centre of Galatsi City speech, rapporteur Dr. Andreas Pittara, Cardiologist, University Lecturer Georgetown Washington USA and President of the Hellenic Society of Cardiovascular Protection. The speech was entitled “The prevention is better than cure- How must shield our health from hypertension, smoking, obesity, cholesterol and sedentariness” lasted one hour and followed by an interesting discussion where attendees presented their questions and concerns. The event was supported by KARABINIS MEDICAL, which is distinguished for its contribution to the health sector. At the end of the event, KARABINIS MEDICAL offered to attendees the chance to measure their blood pressure.
As Major Sponsor, the company KARABINIS MEDICAL S.A. on Sunday October 18th, 2009 held a scientific meeting, in Hotel “Aura” in Rafina. The meeting topic was about the dangerous flu virus type A H1N1. The introducer of the workshop was Ms Giamarelou, special doctor in infection issues, Chairman of the National and Scientific Council against pandemic, and Mr. Christopoulos, an expert pathologist. During the three hour conference, attended by approximately 500 people, were presented interesting aspects, related to the confrontation of the dangerous virus.

In Athens Imperial Hotel on October 1st, 2008, was held the second Health Consumer Conference, dedicated to World Heart Day, organized by the large pharmacies network Active Health, in collaboration with KARABINIS MEDICAL. The participants were welcomed by the president of Active Health Mr.Anagnostopoulos and the general manager of KARABINIS MEDICAL Mr.KARABINIS Apostolos. During the conference was given extensive public information from representatives of KARABINIS MEDICAL, who made blood pressure measurements with the high precision blood pressure monitors Microlife, exclusive representation of the company. The physician cardiologist Mr.Kalogeropoulos Peter, head of anti-hypertension clinic 7th IKA Hospital, analyzed during his speech, issues related to blood pressure and overall risk of cardio. At the end of the conference the public drew lots, awarded with electronic Microlife BP’s.
