Karabinis Medical: Donation of a Portable Defibrillator to the Sub-Directorate for Crime Investigation and Resolution of Western Attica

Karabinis Medical, with its President and CEO Mr. Apostolos Karabinis, has donated a portable defibrillator to the Sub-Directorate for Crime Investigation and Resolution of Western Attica. The equipment was handed over on Friday, March 14, in a gesture of support and reinforcement of public safety in the area.
The event was attended by Mr. Efstratios Matakoulias, Director of the Sub-Directorate, along with the Commanders of the fifteen police departments under its jurisdiction.
Dionysia Volika, Brand Manager of Karabinis Medical SA, speaking at the event, emphasized the importance of prevention and immediate response in emergency situations, stating: “It is a great joy and honor for us to be here today, alongside the Secretariat for Volunteering and the Secretariat for Productive Bodies and Entrepreneurship of New Democracy, to express our appreciation for the remarkable work you do in ensuring the safety of the citizens of Western Attica. The donation of this automated external defibrillator is a small token of our recognition for your service.”
In the same speech, Ms. Volika stressed the necessity of rapid response in cases of cardiac arrest, highlighting that “time is critical”, and expressing hope that the new equipment will contribute to the protection of both citizens and police officers.
