Athens, November 30, 2009. The Hellenic Society of Hypertension and Cardiovascular Prevention, held on Saturday 28/11/09 in the Cultural Center of Galatsi City, an educational speech, presented by Dr. Andreas Pittaras, physician, cardiologist, Lecturer of the University Georgetown Washington USA and President of the Hellenic Society of Hypertension and Cardiovascular Prevention. The speech was titled “Prevention better than Cure- Ways to shield our health against hypertension, smoking, obesity, cholesterol and sedentary life” and lasted for one hour. The speech was followed by an interesting discussion among the participants, who expounded their ideas and concerns. The event supported by KARABINIS MEDICAL, which is a company with distinguished presence in the health sector. After the speech, the attendees had the opportunity to realize blood pressure measurements. The speech was attended among others by deputy Mr. Christos Protopapas.
