Thessaloniki Group<\/strong> and the <strong>Municipality of Kalamaria<\/strong>, is organising a volunteer clean-up at <strong>Karabournaki Beach<\/strong>, on the Kalamaria waterfront, on <strong>Sunday, 4 October 2026, at 10:30 a.m.<\/strong> The event will take place under the auspices of the <strong>Region of Central Macedonia<\/strong> and the <strong>Pharmaceutical Association of Thessaloniki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative forms part of KARABINIS MEDICAL\u2019s environmental programme, <strong>\u201cCaring for the Environment is in our DNA\u201d<\/strong>, which operates under the auspices of the <strong>Ministry of Tourism<\/strong> and is funded by <strong>1% of the turnover from SON food supplements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event marks another meaningful step towards protecting and enhancing the natural environment through the collaboration of two organisations that share common values: social responsibility, collective contribution and care for local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At KARABINIS MEDICAL, Corporate Social Responsibility has long been a core pillar of our business philosophy. We believe that businesses have a responsibility to give back to the communities in which they operate and to make a tangible contribution to a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>\u201cCaring for the Environment is in our DNA\u201d<\/strong> programme was developed with this philosophy in mind, combining:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reward-based recycling of all food supplement packaging<\/strong>, with the participation of consumers and the vital support of pharmacists, who provide space for collection bins and help promote the campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clean-up activities in environmentally degraded areas<\/strong>, aimed at restoring ecological balance and raising the profile of local communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The collaboration with SY.FA. Thessaloniki Group strengthens the programme\u2019s momentum in Northern Greece and highlights the important role that pharmacists and pharmaceutical sector organisations can play in promoting environmental awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KARABINIS MEDICAL and SY.FA.
