Athens, May 19, 2017.\u00a0BIONIME has sponsored a Clinical Study at the First Department of Propaedeutic and Internal Medicine, Laiko General Hospital of Athens, entitled: Evaluation of the accuracy according to the ISO 15197:2013 requirements and usability of 6 different commercially available self-monitoring blood glucose monitoring systems (SMBG).<\/p>\n

The Clinical Study was conducted in August 2016 and Dr.Nikolaos Tentolouris, Deputy Professor of the Medical School of the University of Athens in the First Pediatric Clinic with a subject “Pathology Diabetes Mellitus”, was the primary investigator.<\/p>\n

Also, the clinical study was presented with a poster at the 10th International Conference ATTD (ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES & TREATMENTS FOR DIABETES), 15-18 February, 2017, in Paris.<\/p>\n

The aim of the Clinical Study was to evaluate the accuracy according to the ISO 15197:2013 Requirements as well as the usability of 6 different commercially available self-monitoring blood glucose monitoring systems (SMBG).<\/p>\n

Knowing how important and necessary is self-monitoring of blood glucose to achieve glycemic control in people with diabetes, BIONIME has conducted the clinical study and today presents the results in the following Table.<\/p>\n
