<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\tAthens, January 16, 2015<\/strong>.\u00a0KARABINIS MEDICAL<\/strong>\u00a0presented during a\u00a0Press Conference<\/strong>, the\u00a0Alfacheck Antimicrobial AT400<\/strong>, the first thermometer with antimicrobial copper\u00a0worldwide<\/strong>. Through its technological application, patented worldwide by KARABINIS MEDICAL, the Alfacheck antimicrobial thermometer helps to create safe conditions for medical thermometry, not only to families but to the entire “healthcare chain” (doctors – nurses – patients).<\/p>\n The Press Conference was attended and greeted by the Minister of Health, Mr Makis Voridis,\u00a0who\u00a0received 2,000 antimicrobial thermometers from KARABINIS MEDICAL<\/strong> as a donation to the remote health centers of our country. The presentation was also saluted by Mr Dimitris Triantafillidis, President of the Pan- Hellenic Pharmacists Cooperative, and Mr Stavros Belonis, President of the Federation of Cooperatives Pharmacists in Greece, who both emphasized the importance to promote value added products through the Greek pharmacies.<\/strong><\/p>\n The company\u2019s President and CEO, Apostolos Karabinis<\/strong> noted: “The occasion occurred when the Hellenic Copper Development Institute invited me personally to the think tank they organized in order to explore the applications of antimicrobial copper in health products. I came up with the idea to create an antimicrobial thermometer that would limit the spread of pathogenic microbes, and thus contribute to health preservation. The conversion of my initial concept into an actual health product was based on scientific research, experiments and clinical studies. The implementation path was not easy. It took much effort, faith, perseverance and a huge investment.
